How do I fix Google billing issues? ›

If we can't verify your Google Account information, Google suspends your payments profile and dims the Make a payment button. Verify your information by filling out this form. Other ways to fill out the form: Click Learn More in the alert that says your payments profile is suspended.

It could be due to an issue with the payment method itself, such as an expired credit card or insufficient funds. It could also be a temporary glitch on Google Play's end. To troubleshoot this issue, try updating your payment information and ensuring that there are enough funds available.

Personal checks are an excellent alternative to cash as a safe form of payment. However, they are not as good as cashier's checks because the potential for fraud is high. Unlike cashier's checks, there is no guarantee that the person's bank account has enough money to cover the check.

Pending transactions

When you use a payment method through a Google service, during a purchase or with autofill on Chrome, you may find a charge on your account with the descriptor GOOGLE *TEMPORARY HOLD. This is a pending charge performed to verify that your card account is valid.

On your billing statement, check how the charges appear. All Google Play purchases will appear on your statement, under the following names: "GOOGLE*App developer name" (for Android apps)

Common reasons for suspension include inconsistencies in business information, violation of Google's guidelines, or suspicious activities.

Check to find if your payment method is up to date. If it isn't, update it in the Payments center, then try your purchase again. Make sure you have enough money in your account for the purchase. If you're still having issues, contact your bank to find if there's a problem with your account.

Two possible causes for the suspension: Cause 1: The user was suspended for engaging in abusive activity, such as phishing or spamming. The user can recover their account by signing in at accounts.google.com and following the on-screen instructions.

Make sure that you have enough money in your account for the purchase. If you're still having issues, contact your bank to find out if there's a problem with your account. Try making the purchase again with a different payment method.
