- London buses (in any Zone, irrespective of the zones shown on theticket)
- Trams in SouthLondon
- Docklands Light Railway(DLR)
How do London Travelcardswork?
Your Travelcard will be date stamped for the dates you wish to use it — so once you’ve received your Travelcard by post —it’s ready for use as soon as you arrive in London! Simply show your Travelcard to bus drivers, and put it through the ticket gates atstations.
Should I buy an Anytime Travelcard or an Off PeakTravelcard?
It depends what time of day you will betravelling:
- Anytime Travelcards can be used at anytime.
- Off-Peak Travelcards are cheaper, but cannot be used Monday to Friday before 9.30 am. Available for zone1-6.
Which zones do I need a Travelcardfor?
The centre of London, including most major attractions, is inZones 1-2.Most suburban areas of London, including Wembley Stadium and Wimbledon Tennis Club, are withinZones1-4.
Almost the whole of London, including both Heathrow and London City airports, are inZones1-6.
