Jerry Springer was born Gerald Norman Springer, on February 13, 1944, in Highgate, Middlesex, England. His mother Margot née Kallmann was a bank clerk whereas his father Richard Springer owned a shoe shop.
Both his parents were Jewish refugees who had escaped from Landsberg an der Warthe, Prussia (now Gorzów Wielkopolski, Poland).
Talking about his education Jerry received his BA from Tulane University and later received his Juris Doctor degree from Northwestern University.
Updated 2023; Micki Velton’s Ex-Husband Jerry Springer Died at 79
Micki Velton’s former husband Jerry Springer died on 27th April 2023. He died peacefully at the age of 79 at his home in Chicago, Illinois. A family spokesperson for the late actor and TV personality said that he had been suffering from a major health issue for some time before his demise.
As per some sources, Jerry was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer a few months before his passing.
