For R&B fans, The Book Club hosts regular events including The Get Down every Friday night as well as R Rated which happens every couple of months. Friday nights at The Book Club often consist of resident DJ Jimmy Plates entertaining the crowd with the very best urban tracks. Just make sure you don’t leave it too late, because this popular spot fills up pretty quick on a Friday night, so best to get there early to avoid missing out on the action.
The Roxy, Tottenham Court Road
If you’re looking for a bit of midweek madness, Choke Wednesdays at Roxy offer back-to-back R&B classics until the early hours. The Roxy continues to entice clubbers with its affordable entry and reasonable drink prices, plus the space has a large floor area for dancing. Located just off Tottenham Court Road, down a small side street, the central location makes it the perfect spot to party if you want to escalate evening drinks into a last-minute night out.
