eSIM është një chip i parainstaluar në aparatin tuaj celular. Për ta aktivizuar atë ju duhet të shtoni profilin e numrit tuaj në memorje duke e shkarkuar nëpërmjet internetit.

Nuk është më e nevojshme të përdorni një kartëSIM fizikisht për tu lidhur me rrjetin celular Vodafone.

Vodafone Albania tashmë do të ofrojë lidhjen nëpërmjet eSIM për të gjithë klientët qe do ta kërkojnë, duke ju ofruar të gjitha përparësitëe kësaj teknologjie, e cila ofrohet vetëm nga Vodafone Albania në tregun Shqipëtar.

eSIMnuk është vetëm gjenerata e ardhshme e teknologjisë së kartës SIM (Moduli i Identitetit të Abonentit), eSimheqplotësisht nevojën për një kartë fizike për tu lidhur me rrjetin Vodafone Albania.

Kartat SIM përmbajnë informacionin unik identifikues që mundëson që një telefon celular ose pajisje tjetër të lidhet në mënyrë të sigurt me një rrjet celular. Me eSIM, ato të dhëna përmbahen në disa rreshta kodi që ruhen në një çip të dedikuar brenda telefonit tuaj.

Duke përdorur kodin QR të Vodafone për të ngarkuar eSIM-innë telefonin tuaj, mund të keni sherbimin në vetëm disa minuta.

Meqenëse shumica e telefonave inteligjentë që aktualisht mbështesin kartat eSIMgjithashtu e kanëvendin për tëvendosur fizikisht njëkartë SIM, eSIMmund të përdoret sinjëkartë e dytë:
